What we do for kids would not be possible without our volunteers. There is a huge need for volunteers. Below is a list of just some of the positions and opportunities. If you have something special to offer that is not listed below please email us your idea. Every contribution makes a difference in the life of a child.
Event Help:
Hosting your own fundraising event
Joining an event committee
Soliciting businesses to donate products or services to be used as auction/raffle items at our fundraisers.
Soliciting presents/toys to be donated for our children’s Annual Holiday Party.
Camp Opportunities include:
Transfer your frequent flyer miles to Kids Konnected so that we can use them to fly a child to our summer camp.
Help secure donations for food, water, t-shirts, hats, equipment, transportation, disposable cameras, craft supplies, and canvas bags.
Secure bus transportation for more than 100 kids attending camp.
Secure hotel rooms to be used for our teen camp.
Donate the use of your watercraft or boat to be used at our teen camp.
Office Help:
Help in our office with answering phones and data entry
Decorating Hope the Bear Care Packages
Assembling Hope the Bear Care Packages to send to families
Assembling Professional Packages to send to therapists
Grant Research
Cleaning Office
Food Vendor Gifts
Provide food for family events such as socials, holiday parties, and special events.
Finger foods such as sandwiches or pizza for kids and parents who attend our bi-monthly support group sessions.
Dining certificates to be used as silent auction opportunities at special events.
Printing Gifts
5000 brochures mailed to professionals, families, and corporations.
Year supply of Kids Konnected letterhead and envelopes (2,500)
Year supply of Kids Konnected thank you cards and envelopes
Invitations for special events
Programs for special events
White copy paper and colored paper for resources.
Travel Vendor Gifts
Secure airfare for the Program Director to travel to other Kids Konnected Locations for re-certification.
